Everlasting starts off with the birth of a black female named Zineyah Prince. It explains how her mother had major complications while giving birth to her. After her birth her mother died from an aneurism in her brain. It tells about her life as she grows up and she meets a boy by the name of Everlasting. No one knows why his name is Everlasting, and he doesn’t seem to have a last name. Zineyah knows that Everlasting is peculiar but there’s something about him that draws her to him. His eyes, his lips, his physique, everlasting just seems so perfect.
